I received a Facebook message from Pastor Thawng Kung, the president of Myanmar alumni.

Currently, Myanmar is in power through a coup in the military.

Pastor Thawng Kung is now being chased   by the police, and it seems that there are many threats to him.

Since the situation in Myanmar is very bad, we need your prayers from our alumni.

The following is a message from Pastor Thawng Kung.

Thank you for sending your warm heart tirelessly to me.

As you know about the present situation of Myanmar, we are very sad.

Currently, the military coup is shooting at the civilians who are demonstrating peacefully.

Right now around 28 civilians are killed and the number is increasing rapidly!

And also my hometown is worse and worse day   by day.

Currently, 25 civilians including one Pastor are arrested.

And now I am also not secured and the polices are seeking me from last week to arrest. 

That is why I am concealing at night not to arrest. 

Fortunately, I am living with my family in the daytime.

Please remember in your prayers.
