Who can apply
A candidate for the master’s degree
- who has completed the course and submitted Application for Evaluation of Thesis/Dissertation (only for thesis track)
A candidate for the doctoral degree
- who has completed the course but failed to pass the dissertation examination within the final semester
- or who plans to submit his or her dissertation after the course completion
The above-mentioned student must submit the first draft of thesis/dissertation approved by a faculty advisor and Application for Research Registration, and make a payment for the registration.
Research registration fee : 10% of the regular tuition fee
Number of semesters in which a candidate can register
A candidate for the master’s degree can register up to four semesters. If exceeding this period, the submission for thesis will be no longer accepted.
A candidate for the doctorate degree can register up to eight semesters. If exceeding this period, the submission for dissertation will be no longer accepted.
※ If there is no progress in thesis or dissertation for two semesters during the period of research registration, a candidate will be excluded from the registration and no longer eligible to submit thesis or dissertation.
